I didn't have charms or the best gear, but could still duel because everything was in the same boat. I remember starting out back in the day with my Blizzard sorc and it was the most fun I ever had. If anything they ruined the game by inflating items and XP gains. Diablo 2 will go on long after bots and hacks are gone.
